Foodie time! Today will blog about a really nice Xiu York (Pork) in Japanese style. It was my first time trying eat in this dining restaurant. Thanks Juneci for her introduce and we have a lovely lunch date together too. Since she and her bf are Japanese Cuisine lover too! We have some common interest in food now.
It was located at the Second floor of Eat Paradise Isetan.
I bet everyone here should know where the Eat Paradise at. There are a lot of nice Korean Cuisine and mostly are conquer with Japanese Cuisine. I try some of the dining place there, you can find a lot of Japanese specialties food there and even shop for Japanese groceries and snack too.
Wanted to know what's their famous food? Is this Hokkaido Pork Don. When I first saw the image of their signature Hokkaido Pork Don, I feel so tempting and can't wait to order and try it! Since I have been in 1 Utama for many times, this is the first time I know about this restaurant. Still not too late though.
They have 4 different taste of Pork Don that you can choose. The first and Original Taste, others will be with Potato Salad, Spicy Garlic and with Egg.
Hokkaido Don with Potato Salad RM23.80
They scoop 1 potato salad on the Hokkaido Pork Don as topping. You will surely wonder what's under the Pork, sorry I didn't take photo of it. But underneath of the Pork Slices is serve with salad dressing and rice.
Some of the adding flavor for their Hokkaido Pork Don. Mayonnaise is a must add sauce inside the Don.
The Pork was really so delicious and yummy just from the look. It was crispy and juicy in the same time. I was amazed is that it does not taste dry and hard at all. It was cook alright with the juicy pork and the oil is still secure on the surface of the pork. Don't forget about the salad dressing and the rice beneath. It definitely taste superb with all the food mix up.
Hokkaido Pork Don with Spicy Garlic RM23.80
This time we have Spicy Salad as our topping. At first I scare it might spicy but turns out it doesn't but it just spice up and give some extra flavor with the Pork. The Chili is already marinate so it does not taste spicy at all but a bit soury and spicy.
It has the same salad dressing and rice underneath the Pork too. If you wish to have the flavorful taste with all the food, Add some Mayo, Mix it up with the Topping + Pork + Salad + Rice and EAT IT! They do provide another small empty bowl to let you separate the portion to small and eat it.
I'm so gonna miss the Crispy Pork and it was totally different than you eat from the Chinese stall. With thin slices, crispy and juicy pork, it just makes my day ahead.
Besides with their signature, don't worry as they do prepare other Japanese food like Bento, Udon too. This was from their Menu Set too.
Tokyo Pork Don Set RM25.80
Serve with regular Tokyo Pork Don, small udon and salad with green tea as well.
The bowl with full thin Pork slices. If you say the crispy Pork slices is cook from high temperature roast, this Pork slices will be more healthy and light flavor.
Still with the full topping of pork slices, I can say that this dish is really worth the price. With small Udon and salad dressing too. The juicy pork slice is never ending to try. Juicier and Chewy with it thin slices.
Simple and Nicely decorate interior. Is not a spacious area but just enough for some quite and enjoyable lunch.
I love how Senya Dining serve their pork slices, if you prefer something more healthier and light taste, try for their Tokyo Pork Don Set. But if you wish for heavy and flavorful taste, be remember MUST try their Hokkaido Pork Don!

ReplyDeleteGo and try! hehe
DeleteIt's kind of a slap in the face though. Traditionally, people tend to think that Japanese food is all about sushi and grilled stuff. I like that they infused Western influences to their Japanese cuisine. It brings a variety to the table and it looked great!
