YSL Beauty Zone at The Godown KL

Before writing this post, I’d been struggling with whether to blog about the day when I visit YSL Beauty Zone which is organized at Godown KL. But in the end, I still decided to blog about it and talk about the outfit that I wear during this event.

The outfit that I wore that day is not a matching set, but I wore it as a set which I kinda like as well. I don't usually wear spaghetti tops, and always afraid of cold hence I decided to wear my recent favorite black leather jacket from Dazy Fashion @ SHEIN.com. This pair of long purple pants is also one of the older buys that I finally get the chance to wear out. I like how my outfit is just in purple and black color, which is simple but I like the swag and coolness of the entire outfit come together.

After registering at the counter, we will walk down a small pathway and find this YSL LED Light. It is quite nice to take photos here where you can see your reflection through the LED screen. Due to the crowds, you will notice that through the reflection there are also other people in my photos.

Next, there’s some tv screen showcasing some of YsL ads video, and then it reaches this black #YSLBeautyMY. I find this blackboard nice to take photos with no other additional distractions.

Some of the corners within YSL Beauty Zone after we went in further. There’s also a photo booth where guests can queue for photos and free photo printing too.

My makeup of the day, I don’t recall that I do heavy makeup because I sleep quite late and woke up early for a wedding to attend after the 11.11 campaign. I’m wearing my favorite purple necklace again with simple hook earrings. I’m wearing a new contact lens that I recently bought from the moody lens. I really like the blue purple high-tech design of the lens.

My friend joins along to YSL Beauty Zone. We manage to take some photos together here too. Here is also one of the corners inside the YSL Beauty Zone.

Later we move on to the makeup try-on corner where we can try out YSL makeup products. We both try out the new lipstick color and really like the color on us. I also realize that this makeup corner is also a nice corner to take photos of. This has become my favorite photo corner at YSL Beauty Zone.

Try to take some artistic photos with the LED Wall Corner. Although it is not as I expected but still I like it and decided to post some of the photos here.

This lip color in 314 looks so beautiful on the lips after we try it on. I would describe it as the perfect fall-autumn lip color for the season.

Before we head to the 1st floor for the game corner, there's this backstage corner for photos too. I feel is quite a fun and unique corner, and the red lighting is definitely not easy to take photos in. I just choose a few nice shots with the red lightning.

In general, we have shot more photos on the ground floor, whereas the 1st floor is mainly just for games for small gifts. There are three games for the guest to play and win some door gifts.

Once you have queued and completed all the 3 games, you get your ticket chop and can redeem your gifts on the 2nd floor. The whole area is mostly outdoor, and with the crowds here, you did need to queue for some time for the games.

Lastly, the second floor mainly is a showcase of YSL products for the guest to shop and try. I did almost want to buy their perfume, YSL LIBRE. But I guess the time is not so soon 👽Hope I can get it in the year 2023.
