Red and White CNY Outfit at One Utama Shopping Mall

Can’t believe time passes so fast and CNY gonna end by end of the week. I still have one more CNY ootd post to blog about. For this CNY, I think mine is quite boring because my husband's car broke down and we kinda stuck with in-laws and back to KL quite early. But I am also glad that we back to KL earlier because I manage to do a lot of things during the free time I have when most of the time we stay home and do nothing 😁 Except for day 1 and day 2 of Chinese New Year which are usually just Chinese visitation among the families, the rest of the days I just read a lot of novels and comic which I don't usually do. This is also because when I start to read or watch novels or comics I can't stop and get addicted until I finish it. Since I'm free and on leave, I manage to read and blog a lot too!

Back to today's OOTD post, which is totally quite random and unplanned. Because this is my first Chinese New Year OOTD I took to a shopping mall. This year CNY I have not been to any mall for CNY OOTD shooting except for One Utama mall. Also because Christmas and CNY this time is so near and rushing so hence I did not really rush for the CNY OOTD shooting.

For the last 6 months, I shop a lot of Thai Daigou and bought a lot of random tops. This bear spaghetti top is kinda cute and I love the red line details of the top. This is not the typical top that I will usually wear but I do want to try out a new style that I never try before. Since it has a hint of red, I also match it with some of the red accessories, such as the red beret, red pair of socks, and red bag. 

Since it is a spaghetti top, I also pick a cardigan to wear it. I really love this cardigan, which has a very nice and cute crop-cutting. The material of the cardigan was also very thick and warm to wear. I used to buy a few cardigans from Shopee as well, but the cutting is not very nice since it's cheap hence I did not expect much from it. But since now I got a better one, I prefer this cozy one over the one that I bought from Shopee.

I don't always wear any hair accessories for my OOTD, and tbh I have a lot of hair accessories, such as hair bands, hats, and ribbons. This red beret I bought quite a long ago, and I think I only wear it less than 5 times. I think I need to cut down on the purchase of hats because I really have a lot and I rarely wear out too.

The Chinese New Year decoration in One Utama is quite festive and comes with old China traditional decoration which I kinda like. Too bad I'm not wearing traditional wear, if not I think it will match the CNY theme even more. I like how they re-use the Christmas backdrop but just change up the CNY decoration. It doesn't feel too odd but it saves a lot of time to change everything in a short amount of time.

I only wear red so often during the festive season. Although red is not my favorite color, whenever I wear red during this festive season, I feel that this is a color that is festive and happy! I don't have a lot of red color outfits, but I do appreciate that everyone will think of red color during the festive season. I also wear a pair of red socks which are given by my friends, just to spice up the look for a red and white CNY look.

I'm here on a Sunday, and the crowds that day definitely is still very crowded. Everyone is here at the shopping mall for shopping. I don't think I got time to visit any shopping malls now, but I can't wait for my vacation. My first time going vacay when it's still CNY, not sure if there will be any CNY festive feel there but I'm quite excited about it.
