It is quite fun to plan and shoot a proper cheongsam shoot every Chinese New Year. But it also depends if we have the place or venue to do so or not. This is the second year that I actually did this, this Bamboo hill is also a new place where they plant a lot of bamboo around this area. I also feel that this whole place is very traditional which is also suitable to take some nice CNY Cheongsam photos. When we were here, the whole place was so crowded, and it was really hard to take proper ootd photos too.

I think one of the nicest corners to take the cheongsam ootd is this bridge. But this is also where many people queue and wanted to take photos here. So we just grab all the chance we can when there were no people, we just quickly took some shots here.
I like the way we shoot this from the back because I want to show off my hair clip and also the fan. I purposely bought this fan and also the hair clip to match this cheongsam. Since my cheongsam is in white color, I figure that I bought a black fan to show more contrast with my white cheongsam.
I don't know the name of this tree is it, Willow tree? But I really like the leaves of the tree, I like how the leaves drop and relaxed and the leaves will dance with the wind when the wind blows. I also like my husband to shoot my photos using this angle of bokeh of the leaves.
Forgive me that I can't pick any favorite photos during this shoot. We also took a lot of photos with this bridge, hence there are a lot of pretty photos taken here. As mentioned, in Bamboo Hills the crowds are really no joke, from this angle you will notice there are people walking behind the background.
More photos with the fan posing. The cheongsam that I wore for this photo shoot is from DAZY Fashion. The material cheongsam is thick and of quality material. I like how the puff sleeve can help to cover up my flabby arms. It also helps me look sharper and more classy which I really like!!๐ I recently like this kind of clothing material, because the material is thick but comfy at the same time. But the cons are if your washing machine is dirty, those furs and dirt will stick on the cloth material. It's also my first tryout this clothing material.
I recently has gain a lot of weight due to the Chinese New Year and traveling. I have been planning to jog and exercise more frequently now.
This is my first time visiting Bamboo Hill, and to my surprise, this place is quite huge we also found a lot of nice corners to take photos of beside the central area which is crowded with lots of people. When we are here for lunch and photo shooting, most of the cafes here need to prebook and they don't allow walk-ins which is quite a bumper for us. But somehow I also understand because of the crowds there is definitely no joke hence they need to do crowd control for better management of seating and food serving.

To be honest, I kinda like this spacious area with the fake waterfall and the blue sky. Here is also where the crowds are lesser and you can take as many photos as you want. But here also just beside a Thai Restaurant, it can be awkward if there are guests sitting outside the restaurant. In Bamboo Hills, there are quite a number of cafes and restaurants, just make sure you made a booking before you come here to dine in.
When your car first turns in Bamboo Hills, you will see this big modern decorated waterfall we also took some photos here. I have been wearing this pair of heels for my previous cheongsam shoot too. I find it suitable for any traditional wear, I guess because of its mary jane design which makes you more vintage-looking and feminine. Since my look is all black and white, this pair of heels make the look feel complete too.๐
Since you are at Bamboo hills, there's no way you don't take photos with Bamboos. If you have walked around the Bamboo Hills, you will notice there are quite a number of big bamboo bushes around.
It's also super hard to get a nice photo on the bridge without people as background. But we did try our best to wait and take some nice photos of the bridge and this nice scenery. This scene makes me feel like I'm in another country. I really like the Willow trees surrounding me and it looks so calm and pretty.
There's also a small pond in the middle of this Bamboo Hill. The water of the pond is very clear and shallow. There are also a lot of pretty plants and flowers growing around the ponds too. Hence I wanted to take photos of the pond side.
Here's where also a lot of people take photos where you can capture the entire center of Bamboo Hills. But of course, you can't escape from the crowds ๐ You will need to pay RM5 per entry. I can't wait for Hanam BBQ to open here at Bamboo Hills, because I already miss the BBQ Meat and all the rest of their dishes.
