Pastel Stripe Dress at Smiling Buffalo Cafe, Langkawi | Day 3

After staying at Rebak Island Resort & Marina for 3 days and 2 nights, we extend our Langkawi trip for another two days to explore some of the cafes at Langkawi Island. The first cafe stop is at this The Smiling Buffalo which is just outside the way out from the jetty. There's also a nearby cafe along the way out but we didn't fit it into our schedule for that day, but we plan to visit it the next day.

Whenever I go on an island trip, my favorite outfit to pack is definitely a dress. This dress I bought this from dear19 and it's just perfect to wear for a vacation. I also rarely buy a maxi dress, but a maxi dress is really perfect to wear for an island vacation.

This cafe is really big as it contains cafe food and also for guests to staycation too. We manage to walk around the whole cafe where we get a lot of nice photos around the whole place. If you manage to visit this place, do come to explore the area and you might able to take some nice ootd photos too. Do quiet down when you are at the guest stay area.

I really like the pathway where you are surrounded by the house and plants. The thing that I notice when I'm at Langkawi is, you get to see a lot of different unique trees and small plants too. I really enjoy myself immersed in nature living when I'm in Langkawi.

Then we also stumble at their swimming pool for the guest and I also take some photos there. My favorite photoshoot is from this set of photos.

Some of the bff photos that we took together at The Smiling Buffalo Cafe. I always bring a tripod around whenever I’m traveling. Of course, at times we can always ask people around to help us take photos but I always like to be more independent and use a tripod for photos.

This dress that I bought from dear19 is very comfortable and relaxing to wear. But the material is quite sheer hence you need to wear light color inner wear underneath. I like the length of the dress which is not too long for me. The color is also one of the reasons why I bought this dress too. It’s actually blue and purple stripe color.

I still remember I don’t use to wear sleeveless tops or dresses because of my flabby arms. But recently I start to wear back sleeveless tops or dresses to show off my arm, I don’t really mind showing off now, and since the weather in Langkawi is very hot it’s good to wear for a minimal look. 

I want to show off my COS bag too because the trend of cos bag has been so crazy in Malaysia. I’m pretty lucky to own this and it’s also my favorite color too.

After finishing up this ootd post, I realize I did not edit and post any of the cafe food photos. Here’s one of the photo of the food and my BFF.
