Finally gonna start my birthday post, this year I wanted to try something different which is trying studio shooting. I researched XHS to find the studio shooting style I wanted before selecting the preferred style and photo studio. I proceeded to book and paid for the package. This includes 1 style look, makeup, outfit, and 4 edited high-resolution photos. Although the price might be better, I really like the makeup of the look and the pictures of the day.

The photos I share in this post are those I took using my husband's phone. For the final 4 + 4 (I paid extra) photos, can check out my Instagram @snowmansharing.

This is the gown that I wear with this photo style that I pick. I pick a Traditional Painting French style, I like the headscarf that has been in trend recently. At first, I was unsure if it suited me, but it turned out to look cute and nice on me, so I decided to wear it.

The gown is quite small in size, actually, it can't zip up fully and is stuck on the top part of my waist. But it does not stop us from wearing this gown. The front part turns out really dreamy and nice.

The original photo style that I get is quite dim because the Old Painting French style is always quite dim and darker in style in general. However, for the photos that I look at on the phone, I decided to just make it brighter and with a softer glow effect.

I really love all the photos that my husband took using his phone. I try to also look into his phone lens to capture more photos of me in this makeup and style.

Since it was for my Birthday photoshoot, they also added birthday cake props during the photo shoot. When I first set up the appointment with them, I forgot to tell them about the birthday cake props. After realizing my mistake, I gave them a heads-up, and we were able to take photos with the birthday cake too.

I really liked my makeup that day. The makeup artist is very professional and knows how to emphasize one face feature with makeup. With my deeper eye arch, I am well-suited for Western makeup, making the most of this unique eye feature. I also like how she helps cover my dark eyes circle and creates some natural freckles to match this style.

We pose so many different poses, from sitting on the chair, to on the floor then standing pose as well. I like the entire setup as well. They ensured the lighting was soft and adequate for the entire photoshoot, not too strong or too dim.

Personally, I love the headscarf as it adds an extra touch of style to the outfit. We also offer a wavy hairstyle to complement this look.

The decor setup for this shooting is also very romantic and sweet. For this look because French style they don't smile often but then I don't think I look nice without showing my teeth. But I did try my best to control my expression to match this look.

Love this front gentle smile look.

While shooting, some of the tough parts during the session are, that smiling is too tiring and the waist can be quite sore! After you smile you need to hold it for the photographer to still adjust your body or neck position. Slowly your smile can be quite numb and become unnatural, haha! Then the waist and body can be quite sore because you need to sit straight and hold a better body posture for quite some time in different poses too!

My favorite photos from the phone. I like how the gown looks so dreamy and fairy-like. You can also see the whole setup for my photo shoot as well.

Some of the close shots with the fake roses bouquet. I really like the eye look that the makeup artist drew for me. I also like the small stock of the fake eyelashes that is on my eyes too. Makes my eyes look very big and doll-like too.

Some of the photos my husband took after the photo shoot ended.

You will notice the zip behind me is open up ๐Ÿ˜‚ since this is not the official photos we took. So I just let it be as it is. Until the end, I also felt quite exhausted from the smile and posture that I had been holding onto throughout the shooting.

End this post with this cute photo of me looking dazed. The headscarf keeps moving to the front of my face, making it look like a real strawberry ๐Ÿ“ head.

Check out the photo studio's social media The ONLY Gallery here. Do note that the photos I took are from our own shooting not done by the photo studio itself. However, if you want to check out the photo shooting style they have, you can browse their Instagram for more insight.

Till Then.
