Join me for a delightful Omakase Experience at the newly opened Sushi Kita 鮨きた, now located at Seibu Foodhall, The Exchange TRX. Each piece of nigiri is served with superbly fresh sliced raw fish, offering a delicious and flavorful taste with every bite.

The interior of Sushi Kita 鮨きた is minimal, clean, and white. I really like the ambiance here, it's bright and chill, so guests can thoroughly enjoy the Omakase experience.

There are also some other dining areas for guests to enjoy sushi and other ala carte meal served at Sushi Kita 鮨きた.

 

Sake is served to pair with all the nigiri dishes in this Omakase experience. The sake is smooth and not too strong, so guests can enjoy it while enjoying the fresh nigiri served at Sushi Kita 鮨きた.



Chef Haruka carefully slices the raw fish before serving the nigiri dishes to the guests. The fresh and delicious raw fish looks appetizing.


The appetizer is served with edamame with a strong umi flavor and unagi with seaweed and cucumber. The taste is refreshing, the cucumber slice is extremely crisp, and the sauce is quite appetizing.



Chawanmushi comes in asari sauce, a Japanese clam sauce that is very flavorful and rich in umami taste. The egg and the sauce can be such a nice combination of flavors and bring more layers of taste when you taste it.



This small mehikari which is Green Eye Fish is one of my favorite starter dishes! It is marinated just with salt, when you taste it you can barely feel any bone. The fish is extremely fresh, and the meat is tender and fluffy. The lemon adds a sour and salty flavor, making this small dish very appetizing.


Flounder sushi the meat is so fresh and delicious.

At Sushi Kita 鮨きた, every nigiri is served with a small bit of wasabi underneath the slice and topped with soy sauce. When you eat the nigiri sushi here, you'll experience a stronger taste of salty and sour. If you prefer a more robust and tangy taste, you'll find the omakase nigiri experience at Sushi Kita 鮨きた very appealing.


Japanese amberjack sushi. The meat is very fresh and chewy.


Black seabass torch with charcoal sushi. The sauce of this is with yuzu pepper sauce, which has a different spicy taste compared with wasabi. One of my favorite nigiri dishes, the meat is so soft and with a hint of flavorful taste of the meat.


Saba Fish the meat that is marinated with vinegar, which is much more sour and very fresh too!


This is tuna sushi which I really like when the tuna just melts inside my mouth when I enjoy the sushi.


I like the thickness of this Medium-Fatty Tuna meat, which is very satisfying. You can enjoy the different textures of how tuna tastes in your mouth when you taste it.


This Japanese sardine sushi tastes in the right amount of saltiness and is very flavorful when you eat it.


This Golden Eye Snapper sushi comes in very fresh and thick meat. The skin that is torched with charcoal is very chewy and the taste of burnt actually gives more flavor to this nigiri dish itself.


This scallop from Hokkaido which is also very fresh!


The crispy seaweed amazes me because it adds layers of taste to sushi. Crispy seaweed and fresh chewy Ikura, the combination is just perfect!


This simple sushi roll with just Japanese Winter Melon and Japanese rice is also quite good. The winter melon is crunchy and I really like the taste of it.

The torching process for some of the nigiri dishes. This gives more unique taste and texture to the raw fish slices.



Finally, our Omakase experience ended with Miso Soup and Dessert. The Miso Soup had a really nice umami taste. As for dessert, we had a choice of ice cream flavors, and I chose the red bean flavor, which was quite interesting.





Outside the restaurant, there is also a section for seafood and wagyu frozen meat. You can buy these frozen goods to cook and enjoy fresh seafood dishes at home.
