Bangkok is a lively city combining tradition and modernity, offering a wide range of shopping, dining, and cultural experiences. I always like to explore trendy fashion boutiques, and bustling markets like Chatuchak Weekend Market, and enjoy delicious Thai cuisine at popular restaurants. Iconic attractions such as Wat Arun and the Floating Market allow travelers to connect with the city's rich culture. With plenty to see and do, Bangkok is an exciting destination for shopping, dining, and discovering local treasures. Come with me to check out Bangkok Must Shop, Must Eat, Must Go when you travel to Bangkok!
Bangkok Must SHOP

TRES shopping is suitable for young, colorful fashion people. It has many floors, too, and the assortments are consistent but come from different Thai local brands.

There is also one of the biggest GentleWoman branches here at Siam Square. It has three floors, each with a different assortment. The second floor is my favorite. It has the latest design pieces, and the space is much bigger than the other floors. They list and sell their classic GentleWoman bags on the third floor.

This super pink Matchbox boutique is also quite packed and has a lot of clothing. It has three floors, and you can shop here all day. But it was quite messy, so I didn't enjoy shopping here much. You will need time to go through the clothes rack, and you might find some pieces you like!

This Daddy and the Muscle Academy is also very famous in Bangkok. They have opened a lot of branches around Bangkok town. This branch even opened another new floor that I have yet to visit!

This Nineties design is one of the new fashion boutiques that have become my must-go shopping in Thailand. It sells a lot of nice, basic and cute tops that I really like. Since I'm a t-shirt lover, I can shop a lot whenever I shop at Nineties Design. And every girl needs some cute basic top to wear!

December's also become a very famous spot where people will come shop for clothes in Bangkok. When I first shopped here, I also bought a few pieces of clothes. Tbh I feel that their clothes quality is normal, and it just gets worn off after a few washes.

Central World is one of the largest shopping malls in Bangkok. The mall is so big that I have never been able to explore the entire place in one visit. It features numerous local fashion boutiques that are worth visiting, as well as many global brand shops. Definitely want to be back here one day!

Siam Paragon has a lot of Korean brands that I am really excited to shop. I definitely need to plan a shopping trip to Korea again one day! The bridge area has this famous Bangkok word that everyone comes here for photos.

This Fashion Island is like one hour of train ride where I purposely come here to shop at Choose Dress. Last time they had one branch at Siam Square but it closed down. Choose Dress has a lot of cute basic tops that I really like too! But tbh Fashion Island has a whole floor of fashion stores that you could also shop whole day.

Emsphere is the newest hipster shopping district in Bangkok, boasting a variety of trendy shops and stylish interior designs. They have a lot of nice restaurants as well, you can enjoy a nice meal after shopping here.

Icon Siam is also a must-shop shopping mall when you are in Bangkok. The shopping mall is also very huge and a lot of nice luxurious stores here too.

My first time at Jodd Fairs and if you really shop nicely here, you can find some really good and unique finds. I bought this really cute Shiba outer and I really like it!

Chatuchak Weekend Market is my must market to visit whenever I am in Bangkok. This weekend market is so huge and you can easily spend half a day here to shop and eat.

My favorite drugstore shop to shop when I am in Bangkok. This branch especially located at Siam Square is super big and you can easily shop here for hours if you are a beauty lover! Besides Beautrium, there's also Eve and Boy in the Siam Square area which needs a bit of finding. Both store is my favorite place to shop for Thai Makeup!

Bangkok Must EAT - Restaurant

This Thong Smith Boat Noodle restaurant always has a long queue during lunch or dinner time. I kinda like their beef noodles, and you can choose the ingredients you want together with the beef noodles.

Supanniga Eating Boom by Khunyai - The best home-cooked meal that I ever had when I was in Bangkok. I think this restaurant is out of our expectation where we just randomly search and decide to dine in. To our surprise, each of the dishes cooked very well, the cooked cabbage is a must-try!

After we were tired of walking the whole day at Central Word there, we found this restaurant Ros Niyom, and had a simple yet hearty Thai food dinner here! One of the dishes that attracts me is fried egg with crab meat. Although there's not a lot of crab meat we still enjoy all the dishes that we ordered.

Another great Thai restaurant is Kubkao Kubpla, which tends to be quite busy when we dine there. We ordered Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai for dinner. Whenever you travel to Bangkok, you must try the Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai here.

When I first found out about this Easy Buddy restaurant to try at Central World, the photos of the beef looked really tempting to me already. The beef that they cook and serve is really chef kiss too. They have a lot of meat choices and parts for you to choose too.

Whenever travel to Thailand, must try Pad Thai at Thipsamai Iconsiam! But this pad Thai we tried from here, I feel is quite dry and not really up to my liking.

Finally try out SABX2, one of the famous pork rice must try! It is not too hard to find this, and I really like the chili sauce. It is very appetizing and matches perfectly with the meat and rice.

The beef noodle shop they also open another Thong Smith hotpot at Emsphere. Just nice that we get to enjoy beef noodles but in a hotpot version. The hotpot and meat set they have is quite worth it, I barely finish all the food they have.

Bangkok Must EAT - Cafe

Sarnies Cafe - Bangkok also has a really good variety of coffee. We managed to visit this cafe, and the coffee was really good. We spend some time eating and chilling before heading to our next location.

Holiday Pastry Cafe has a very Korean vibe and is a pretty cafe to visit. The exterior of the cafe is very pretty, and a lot of people come here to take photos. Their pastry is quite good too! Full detail post here.

This Mustang Blu Cafe is really nice and unique! I recommend visiting here especially if you love magic and Harry Potter. The food and drink here is quite good as well.  Full detail post here.

We also visit the Divana Signature Cafe at Central World. This whole place is covered prettily with all artificial leaves and flowers. It is quite pretty and dreamy. We have a really nice tea time here. Full detail post here.

This Mil Toast cafe bread is a random find when we are near the pink cafe at Siam Square. It has the most fluffies bread that I ever had. It is a nice cozy cafe to come and enjoy brunch.

Bangkok Must EAT - Market Food

The signature Volcano Ribs where you can enjoy at Jodd Fair Rama 9. I don't have any specific stall to recommend, because the crowds of people there are quite crazy and we just choose whichever has an empty seat and just order and eat.

Bangkok Must EAT - Night Bar

For bar hopping in Bangkok, we went to Tichuca Rooftop Bar which has this famous jelly night light that must take photos with. As usual, the bar is crowded and the main chilling area is filled with people. We only managed to get standing space on the highest floor. Full detail post here.

This Stella Bangkok Bar is also one of the bars that we added last minute to our itinerary. It has this pretty peacook in the middle of the bar which is the key decor in this bar. We have a really chilled and fun time here while enjoying the live band. Full detail post here.

I really love this Tai Soon Bar which is quite a mystery bar that doesn't have a specific menu of the day. But you can choose based on the flavor you want to try of the day. I always prefer something sour and sweet.

Bangkok Must EAT - Desserts

After You Dessert is also a must-try ice-shaven dessert to try whenever you are in Bangkok.

This Karun Ice Milk Tea is my new favorite dessert to try in Bangkok! You can adjust the sweetness level according to your preference. The drink is very smooth and the tea taste is very fragrant too.

This Sicha is a very fancy Thai Milk tea. Honestly, I don't have much strong impression of this Thai Milk Tea. But if you like Thai Milk Tea, you can come and try this at Chatuchak Weekend Market.

Pangcha is also an ice-shaven dessert that gets a lot of awards in Thailand. It gets Michelin stars as well hence also must try when in Bangkok. One serving is very big and both of us barely finish it. It has a lot of small jelly bits as well.

Bangkok Must DO and GO

Although the bridge and word are quite washed out, still visitors come here and take photos with it.

Visiting the Maeklong Floating Market by boat is a vibrant journey through bustling waterways, where colorful long-tail boats glide alongside traditional wooden vendors selling fresh produce and local delicacies. Overall the journey is very sunny and hot, but is a nice experience!

Visiting the Train Market in Bangkok, also known as Maeklong Railway Market, is a unique experience where vendors set up their stalls directly on the railway tracks. As the train approaches, the market transforms in an instant, with shopkeepers swiftly retracting awnings and moving their goods to clear the path, creating a thrilling spectacle for visitors.

The cafe at Bubble in the Forest in Bangkok offers a serene escape surrounded by lush greenery and charming decor, creating a tranquil atmosphere for visitors. The interior is very chill and in resort vibes, and a lot of visitors come here to enjoy the vibes of the cafe.
