Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! Here's my first outfit post for this CNY. You can follow my Instagram for all my outfit updates, which I post more frequently. This time, I went to One Utama to take some nice Chinese New Year OOTD photos. Since I didn’t visit this mall during Christmas, I decided to check it out during CNY. They also have a lovely CNY decor set up in the mall.

In this festive shot taken at One Utama's vibrant Chinese New Year decor, the outfit showcases a modern twist on the traditional Cheongsam. The red cropped Cheongsam-style top features a bold floral pattern, symbolizing luck and prosperity, perfect for the Chinese New Year. It’s paired with a white ruffled skirt, creating a chic and feminine silhouette.

This corner comes in pink cherry blossoms and traditional Chinese decorations which showcase the spring festival during this Chinese New Year. Additionally, the backdrop is adorned with red lanterns, blooming flowers, and a traditional Chinese pavilion, making it the perfect Instagram-worthy spot for CNY OOTD photography.

There are many crowds when we take photos here. I managed to capture one photo from the main center of the Chinese New Year decorations.

This corner of their Chinese New Year decor is also very pretty!

Since there are too many crowds, we find another corner to take more ootd photos. This angle can take even more nice Chinese New Year decor at One Utama.

I really like this very grand red pavilion adorned with lanterns and floral motifs, creating a perfect festive backdrop for CNY photography. The setting is filled with traditional red lanterns, intricate Chinese architecture, and festive ornaments, making it an ideal spot for Chinese New Year OOTD shots and Instagram-worthy festive photos.

I also really like this corner with a large circular “moon gate” window with a red lattice design, symbolizing prosperity and unity in Chinese culture. Surrounding the window are artificial pink and red flowers, including peonies and cherry blossoms, which represent good fortune, beauty, and renewal during the Chinese New Year.

I bought this red cheongsam top last year but didn't have a chance to wear it. I really like this fancy patterned cheongsam; it is so vibrant and festive. The Chinese collar is in the middle which is comfortably designed, and the slight bubble sleeves add a cute touch to the overall cut.

It's great that there's a floral pop-up store here too. I really like the flowers they have set up and decided to take photos with the flower background. It looks very festive with all the beautiful Chinese New Year flowers.

When we were about to leave, we found this very festive corner and decided to take full ootd shots. I like this this stylish Chinese New Year outfit is a modern take on traditional festive wear. The standout piece is the red cropped Cheongsam-style top adorned with delicate white floral patterns, symbolizing luck and prosperity for the Chinese New Year. Since the top is in a cute design, I paired it with a white tiered ruffle skirt, the outfit achieves a playful yet elegant balance, perfect for festive gatherings or outings.

To complete the look, red Mary Jane shoes add a charming touch that ties the color palette together, while a white mini handbag with gold details adds sophistication. The accessories enhance the outfit without overshadowing its vibrant appeal.

I also matched it with a white bag that I had not been using for a long time. Thinking if I should get a nice classy branded white bag also 😝 Lastly this red pair of flats also come on time, I wear it a lot during this Chinese New Year. I have other CNY outfits that gonna post on my blog, so stay tuned!
