The Gardens Mall is one of my favorite malls during the festive season. We also went there for the Chinese New Year and took many beautiful photos. Their decorations for the occasion are stunning and truly capture the festive spirit. They always put in great effort when it comes to festive decorations.
While browsing this outfit post, I realized that I took way too many photos. At this point, I am also not too sure how I am going to blog about this outfit, so probably some parts of this blog post will be much shorter.
This Chinese New Year outfit is super cool and sweet at the same time which is my favorite styling.
It's been some time since to saw my hair in almost black color. This Chinese New Year I didn't plan anything for myself. I did not plan for a nail and hair appointment. This year Chinese New Year is quite early and wzrp appointments don't have enough time to plan and book. Mainly I just feel lazy π
There are a lot of seating areas for the Chinese New Year decor at The Gardens Mall. The decorations are too pretty not to take photos with them!
This pink color blossom flower decoration is my favorite decoration here! The pink lantern gives really sweet and festive vibes which I really like. I definitely wanted to go see Sakura Flowers again, although not sure when it will be my chance again to see it but I really miss Sakura Flowers's view so much.
This stylish Chinese New Year outfit features a trendy red crop top with puffed sleeves and a subtle cut-out detail, perfectly paired with black leather shorts for a modern and edgy touch. Completing the look are chunky black platform boots, adding a bold statement to the festive ensemble.
The background showcases a stunning Oriental-inspired setup with pink cherry blossoms, traditional red lanterns, and intricate Chinese architectural elements, creating the perfect backdrop for a CNY-themed photoshoot. Captured at The Gardens Mall, this Chinese New Year decoration highlights the beauty of festive traditions with a contemporary twist, making it a must-visit spot for those looking to embrace the Chinese New Year celebrations in style.
The background at The Gardens Mall is a breathtaking Oriental-inspired setup, rich in cultural aesthetics. Featuring red wooden panels, delicate cherry blossoms, vibrant floral arrangements, and cascading red tassels, this setting captures the essence of Chinese heritage and prosperity. The elegant red console table and traditional Chinese decor elements, such as the painted silk screens and intricate wooden furniture, enhance the festive ambiance, making it an ideal backdrop for a CNY photoshoot.
One of the close shots of my Chinese New Year outfit!
This corner is quite difficult to photograph, even though the background features a Tiffany & Co. shop. Nevertheless, I managed to pose for some nice photos here. They constructed a small bridge as part of the Chinese New Year decorations, and I wanted to take some pictures there. However, I found it quite challenging to take photos on the bridge due to the busy crowds and the stores in the background.
This top isn't my favorite, but after I wear it out, I really like it and feel it has a modern Chinese element. A cheongsam top usually comes with a Chinese collar button; even though this top doesn't have one, I appreciate the neck collar design that can tie like a ribbon. It creates a collar design that perfectly balances traditional charm with modern style.
In addition to the neckline, it features a red puff-sleeve crop top with a keyhole neck that exudes festive elegance, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune. I pair it with black leather high-waisted shorts, creating a contemporary, edgy contrast, while the chunky black platform boots elevate the outfit with a bold, fashion-forward flair.
Me gaining too much weight during this Chinese New Year π
I also like this Chinese New Year decor corner. The Gardens KL always has the best Chinese New Year decor even their Christmas one also one of my favorite spots! I wore my chunky black platform boots for the first time on a casual date. I previously wore them to a concert for a bit of extra height while enjoying the performance. These boots give me the edgy and cool style I want for this look. It seems that red and black have become my favorite color combinations for this festive season!
Love this colorful backdrop for a stunning Oriental-inspired setup at The Gardens Mall, featuring vibrant red lanterns, blooming cherry blossoms, and lush floral decorations that reflect the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year. The embroidered teal cushions, traditional wooden bench, and ornate Chinese rug add a rich cultural ambiance, making this the perfect spot for a CNY photoshoot.
I found another beautiful spot for taking photos with flowers! I didn't mention the bag that complements this outfit, but it's the first red bag I bought last year during Chinese New Year. I got it from Charles & Keith as part of a special collaboration with Chetlo.
The intricate floral arrangements paired with rich red and gold accents create an auspicious and picturesque setting, capturing the essence of Chinese heritage. This festive backdrop enhances the overall aesthetic, making it ideal for a CNY-themed photoshoot that celebrates beauty, culture, and the spirit of the Chinese New Year 2024.
