This year, my company dinner theme is Shanghai Night. At the last minute, I decided to shop for a vintage 90s cheongsam and a scarf from Shopee. Luckily, everything arrived on time, and I got to wear the cheongsam. It is not really my style, but I think I nailed the look for my company dinner.

It's been a while also since I took so many outfit photos at an event. I think I am very lucky to have someone to help me take photos and record this pretty look. This is one of the photo corner setups by the company which also fits the Shanghai Night theme.

For this Shanghai Night Theme Company Dinner, I chose to wear a stunning vintage cheongsam that perfectly captures the elegance and glamour of Old Shanghai. This traditional Chinese dress features a classic high-slit design and intricate floral embroidery on a bold red fabric, symbolizing prosperity and sophistication.

I love all the photos here. The fan I'm wearing is one I bought some time ago, and I've already used it as an accessory for many photoshoots. To enhance the vintage aesthetic, I paired it with a luxurious black faux fur shawl, adding a touch of drama and old-school charm reminiscent of 1920s Shanghai jazz clubs.

The hotel where we have our company event is The Westin KL. This is my first time attending an event here, and the ballroom is on B4 and quite spacious as well. Since we are at the hotel, it's also a good time to take some nice shots of my Cheongsam.

There are also a lot of people around where I took all the photos, we already trying best to take photo without capturing anyone in the background. The form-fitting silhouette of the cheongsam accentuates curves while maintaining a refined and classy look.

I completed the outfit with a pair of black platform heels, which not only elevate the overall appearance but also complement the bold red tones of the dress.

I keep my hairstyle simple by using a curl and a pearl clip to secure one side of my hair. I can’t believe my fringe is finally growing longer; this is the first step I’m taking to change my look. For accessories, I chose pearl earrings and a necklace. I also kept my makeup lightweight and simple.

The Shanghai Night theme effortlessly brings the charm and elegance of Old Shanghai’s golden era to life, blending vintage fashion with a nostalgic atmosphere. From the intricate cheongsam design to the lavish decor featuring mahjong tiles and marquee lights, every detail adds to the glamour of the evening. This experience was a perfect mix of heritage, style, and celebration, making it a truly unforgettable company dinner.
